From Startup to South India's Leader
The Beginning — Mumbai
A group of engineering college friends with a shared passion for clean energy started providing off-grid and small-scale solar solutions to businesses and households in Mumbai, Pune and Ernakulam. We gained hands-on expertise in leading solar technologies and cutting-edge systems.
Kerala — Full Commitment
We moved our entire operations to Kerala, recognizing the state's enormous solar potential and supportive policy environment. We began developing On-Grid and Off-Grid power plants for residential and industrial customers. Our services expanded to include power/energy audits and third-party power quality testing for solar installations.
Official Incorporation — Pvt Ltd
After years of successful operations, we formalized our business as Zolar Roof Private Limited — registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs with CIN U31200KL2021PTC070273. Registered office established at Perumbavoor, Kerala. This milestone marked our commitment to scale and serve customers with greater accountability.
MNRE Certification & PM Surya Ghar
Zolar Roof achieved MNRE (Ministry of New & Renewable Energy) registration, becoming one of Kerala's top certified vendors. We became actively involved in PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, helping hundreds of families access subsidized solar power. Our stronghold in Angamaly, Aluva, Perumbavoor, Kalady and surrounding areas was firmly established.
Expansion & New Headquarters
Established our new headquarters at Muthuvara, Thrissur — expanding our reach into Thrissur district while strengthening our Ernakulam operations. Opened additional branch offices in Aluva and Angamaly. Expanded services to Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Recognized as the #1 MNRE vendor for PMSG MBY in Ernakulam district.

MNRE Registered Vendor
Officially registered with the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India. This credential authorizes us to install subsidized solar plants under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. Recognized as the top MNRE vendor in Ernakulam district.
ANERT Affiliated
Affiliated with ANERT (Agency for Non-conventional Energy and Rural Technology), Kerala's state renewable energy agency. This affiliation ensures compliance with Kerala-specific renewable energy standards and policies.
KSEB Empanelled
Our installations are recognized and empanelled by KSEB (Kerala State Electricity Board). This enables smooth net meter applications, KSEB inspections and commissioning with minimal delays for our customers.
SBI Solar Loan Partner
Primary association with State Bank of India for PM Surya Ghar solar loan facilitation. We assist customers through the entire loan application process — from documentation to disbursement and subsidy coordination.
